Tracy Van den Bergh is a full time senior associate and has been with the firm since 2015.
She focuses on complex civil and domestic litigation, mediation and appellate law.
Prior to joining Roberts & Freatman, Tracy practiced for seven years with Legal Services of South Central Michigan, providing her expertise in civil litigation and domestic relations law to low income residents and seniors in Washtenaw County. She has experience with all phases of litigation, successfully representing clients at trials and on appeal at both the Michigan Court of Appeals and Michigan Supreme Court.
Before her tenure at LSSCM, Tracy was an Associate with Bodman LLP in the firm’s Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice Group. At Bodman, Tracy represented clients in a wide range of complex civil matters including several multi-million dollar personal injury and commercial cases.
Tracy received her law degree from Michigan State University College of Law (formerly Detroit College of Law) graduating Summa Cum Laude with a litigation concentration. In addition, she holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from New York University.
Tracy is also active in the community. She currently serves as co-chair of the Washtenaw County Bar Association’s Public Service Committee, is a member of Rotary International, and sits on the board of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Washtenaw Chapter. Further, she actively volunteers with numerous animal rescue organizations.
Tracy lives on a small farm in Scio Township with her husband of 21 years, Larry Ross, their 18 year old daughter, Isabelle, and a variety of four legged family members including horses and dogs.
